Term
CALIBRATE
CALIBRATE is the practice of matching the strength of a judgment to the strength of the evidence, then updating when the facts move. Confidence is a report, not a personality trait. The book that owns this name is still in production; the definition is stable.
When to use it
Use it when a team is confusing loud certainty with a well-scored claim.
Do not confuse with
Not a psychometric product. It is the named system in The Calibrated Mind, which is not for sale yet.
